Biological evolution is too slow compared with our environment, and our memory is now limited when faced with the mass of information available. We need to take matters into our own hands to overcome our limitations.
At Episodic we're building a personal artificial memory system that brings all the memories needed for creative, innovative people. Through our brand-new type software using machine and deep learning and a revolutionary organization of data in an intuitive and comprehensive interface.

Aptitudes:

Skills:
MS, PhD, self taught in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience in ML or data intensive pipelines.
Experience building LLM applications or RAG products using Python.
Experience in Knowledge Graphs, Vectors (Weaviate, Pinecone, FAISS), Speech-To-Text & NLP.
CI/CD pipelines for ML (GitHub Actions, etc.).
Containerization & orchestration (Docker, serverless architectures).
Model deployment and monitoring (Vertex AI, Sagemaker)
Built several production-grade ML pipelines from scratch, integrating models, databases, and hosting.
MacOS app development experience.
Front-end implementation experience – building intuitive, responsive interfaces and integrating them with backend systems.
Cloud experience with AWS & GCP, including Firebase Bucket Storage, S3, Neo4j, Supabase.
Ability to architect high-performance, scalable, and secure systems.
Passion for AI, with a constant drive to stay ahead of the curve and up to date on state-of-the-art developments.
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to tackle complex problems with a critical thinking approach.
Experience processing and managing large datasets efficiently.
Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members.
As an intern at Episodic, you will:
Own and build the full end-to-end ML pipeline, from data ingestion to model deployment.
Develop and maintain scalable infrastructure for high-performance AI applications on AWS/GCP.
Implement front-end features and user interfaces that seamlessly integrate with AI systems, ensuring usability, responsiveness, and performance.
Design and implement AI features (NLP, LLM, RAG, knowledge graphs, STT) starting from the MVP.
Architect and implement the core retrieval system, combining vector search, graph-based navigation, structured indexing, metadata enrichment, and advanced re-ranking techniques.
Build robust pipelines to ingest user data, including parsing and processing audio streams, performing speaker diarization, identifying speakers, and transcribing content using cutting-edge STT models.
Stay up to date with emerging AI and MLOps tools to drive technical innovation.
Help shape a culture of technical excellence, rapid iteration, and continuous improvement.
